Working with the likes of Willmott Dixon, Wates and Sky Betting and Gaming, we develop innovative, tailor-made web applications and content to help our clients transform their day-to-day operations.

Due to several recent contract wins we are looking to invite a few talented, like-minded people into the team. We are currently looking for a talented Help Desk Operator to support users of custom, complex digital platforms, designed for the construction industry.

Your day-to-day at Tribus will include:

Working within the Help Desk team to field calls, emails and online chat from end-users of software who are having issues or difficulty. The queries could stem from a lack of system understanding, technical fault or user error. Your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer queries via online chat, email, or phone
  • Writing, editing, and revising training manuals / knowledge articles for new and updated software and hardware
  • Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
  • Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
  • Diagnosing system errors and other issues
  • Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
  • Running reports to analyse common complaints and problems
  • Coordinating the resolution of issues with the wider team, consisting of project managers; developers; designers and help desk colleagues

For this role, we’d like to see:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Familiarity with both Mac and PC hardware and software
  • Strong customer service skills on a help desk
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • A well organised individual
  • A proactive problem solver
  • Well-spoken concise use of the English language
  • Ability to explain complex systems to customers
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in all situations
